Good basic hotel with all you need but evening meals. It is however only a 10 minute walk into Arundel where there are plenty of good eateries. The hotel breakfasts were very good with freshly cooked quality ingredients.

The single room was spotless and the breakfast excellent.It completely suited my stay for one night.

Although on a main road we were at the back. Room fine and clean bathroom good. Breakfast more than enough. Nice garden. 10 mins walk to town centre next door to station. Not 5 star but doesn't pretend to be,but more than adequate for a short stay.

A good location which is a very short walk from the station or alternatively if travelling by car there is plentiful free car parking.Reception was friendly & our was pretty large, very clean and comfortable.Complimentary breakfast was okay, but not exceptional.Overall, though we would probably stay here again as it’s so close to Arundel.

We have stayed at the Arundel park a number of timesthe room was very nicecomfortable and clean the breakfast was not as good as usual however everyone was very nicewill definitely go back especially as only 100 yards from the Station

What a lovely find this was. It was a last minute booking and glad we did. The room we had was very spacious, very clean and a warm and cosy feel with the added extra of a couple of chairs to lounge in.Host and staff very friendly and breakfast very tasty and a good selection. Great location to explore the Sussex coast. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great Room - Great Service - Delicious Breakfast - Perfect Location Next To Arundel Railway Station For One Day Trip To London -

Just a 10 minute walk to town with interesting shops, castle, cathedral and excellent Chinese restaurant. We found an excellent pub, The Red Lion with live music and open fire - perfect! The hotel staff were really polite and helpful. The room was clean, the shower was fine and the breakfast in the beautiful conservatory was very nice with all the usual choices. If you want something flash, sterile and modern, you may find this doesn't tick your boxes. But it was perfect for us.

Very good value.Staff were lovely. Breakfast good for the budget. Parking an asset in Arundel. Room was a small double sufficient for one night. Very comfy bed and bedding. Clean bathroom however shower was not great. Hard to turn on and off and not very powerful. Decor a little dated but not a problem as long as it is clean. Would recommend.

Lovely, comfortable clean rooms in a welcoming hotel within an easy walking distance of the town.We weren't expecting such a lovely breakfast with a great choice of cooked and continental.We came to visit the castle where St Philip Howard and the Roman Catholic cathedral where he is buried and they are a 'must see'!The hotel made for a really enjoyable trip.

Our second stay after 2 years and is still a nice clean Hotel, good value for money, impeccably clean and a great night sleep in comfortable bed. Breakfast was done nice and that welcoming smile from the lady serving breakfast starts the day off superbly. Can definitely recommend and we shall be back again.

The hotel was central. They kindly accommodated us as we arrived a little later than anticipated from Scotland.The staff were friendly.The cooked breakfast was amazing.The twin room was clean.The beds were amazingly comfortable.I would definitely recommend.The only thing I would say is that the stairs are quite steep.

We stayed as a family in two rooms, a double and a twin room with ensuite. Both rooms were clean, tidy, and had everything we needed.Cooked breakfast included in the price was very nice with a choice of cereals, fruits, yoghurt, pastries, juice, te and coffee. Hotel was very accessible from the station (right next to it!) And also had ample parking. Main road noise was minimal. Lovely garden surroundings. Arundel town centre is walkable (20 mins) from hormtel, 5 mins drive.Will definitelystay there again!

A great location and even on main road there was no traffic noise. A car park was important to us and a short flat walk into Arundel. Room 16 was large and bed was very comfortable and room was serviced every day. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a good choice of food. The only criticism was the shower had a very flow of water and I was unable to wash my hair. We would stay with you again. Many thanks.

This hotel is within easy walking distance of Arundel. There is plenty of parking(free) on site.The room we stayed in was good with nice en-suite. There was enough choice at breakfast which was served in the conservatory. The hotel was very clean. Although no evening meals are served there are plenty of eating places in Arundel. I stayed here one night as I was away on business.The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fery good with lots of choice.Only downside the ceiling fan didn't work and to have the window open was too noisy .

A lovely big room with plenty of storage space. A beautiful view out the window. Shower was excellent. Room cleaned to a great standard each day. Tea/coffee/milk and biscuits replenished each day. The breakfast was excellent in a beautiful conservatory over looking a lovely garden where birds were fed each day. Plenty of choice to eat and the lady serving breakfast was extremely attentive to making sure there was refills of everything. The breakfast food was good. It was little things also that impressed us, for example, the plants in the conservatory were very well looked after and the whole place was spotless. Also an excellent location to walk into Arundel. Plenty of parking space as well. Would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for making our break a pleasant stay.

Very handy for the station and town centre. Great breakfast in lovely breakfast room . Staff really helpful . We had Rm 16 , really big with dual aspect and large bathroom . Ample free parking. Have stayed at this place before and will stay again . Can’t fault it .

The photos on the website don’t do this hotel justice! It was a lovely little hotel, central for what we needed to do as a family. The room sizes were big and airy and ours overlooked nice gardens. Everyone enjoyed the full English breakfast the next morning as well. The staff were helpful and friendly and we would definitely stay again.

We have stayed here a number of times and always find it to be a good choice.The owners are very friendly and welcoming.The lady who looks after us at breakfast is very pleasant, friendly and efficient.My only criticism is the size of the bath towels, they are far too small.Over all very good.

I stayed for 4 nights whilst at a course in Arundel, about 5-10 minutes easy walk to town centre. Comfortable and very clean en-suite room with all I required. Good breakfast served quickly and efficiently by pleasant staff. Before going, I had been worried about possible road noise but although I heard it in the evening and early morning it was not noticeable at night so no sleeping problems. I would be happy to stay there again.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times. It’s clean, the staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. The station is almost next door so you can leave the car at home. There’s a short, flat walk into Arundel.

Just had a one night stay, nice welcome, nice room, nice breakfast & all at a reasonable price. Would use this hotel again. Only downside was the main road was a bit noisy but not a problem.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Arundel Park Hotel in Sussex, and what a lovely find.From the outside it may look as if a little spruce up wouldn’t hurt, but inside the rooms were certainly airy and comfortable.The welcome was very warm and we were given clear instructions about the room location and restaurant for our breakfast, plus a bar area.Our bathroom was spacious and maybe the shower could have been more powerful but that’s just nit picking.The only problem that I did encounter was taking our suitcase up to the room because of the lack of a lift, but I’m sure the proprietor would have helped out anyone who needed assistance.With comfortable room (we had a family room) plenty of storage for our clothing, plus tea/coffee making facilities and TV mounted on the wall, we had everything we needed.The Breakfast was excellent, all cooked to requirement and served with a smile.The location of the hotel is brilliant, just a short 5 minute walk from the Town (Arundel) with all its sites and facilities. It’s a win win situation.If you needed to travel without your car then the rail station is next to the Hotel, and you won’t hear any noise from the railway at the hotel.This is certainly one place that we will use again while in the area.

This hotel is clean, our room was spacious and our ensuite had a bath. The breakfast was good and the staff were all friendly and attentive. It is only 1 minute from the station and 10 minutes from the centre on foot.

The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is fantastic. Room and bathroom were ok. The only thing is the very busy road, but if you close the window you hardly hear it.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Free parking, next to the station. We were booked in easily and my medication was stored in their fridge no problem. Our room back onto the garden and was lovely. Our en suite was clean as was our room. Breakfast was a choice of cereals, juices and a choice of full English, vegetarian option available which was more than enough and hot. Staff were warm and friendly. Would stay again!

Ive stayed in many hotels over the years and have to say that this is a seriously under-rated hotel. Should read as 4star as the facilities are good quality, clean and bery comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious !Only a short walk into the very pretty village. A day at the Castle, dinner at Chichester Marina and the Cathedral on Sunday before a leisurely drive home. Perfect. Fab weekend….worth a visit.

Unusual decor of ceiling fans, lotus pattern curtains, palm trees in garden made the hotel out of the ordinary and staff were very attentive.

We enjoyed our stay at The Arundel park hotel, it was very quiet even though on a busy road and close to all amenities, breakfast was very nice in the conservatory, the only negative was the towels could have been bigger.

Room was outdated but very clean except for skirting we had a noisy room as it was road side but friends had a back room said it was quiet comfortable bed nice breakfast overall good place to stay

We had a lovely stay for two days so near to Arundel. The breakfast was spot on.The only thing we had an issue with was the double bed which was quite small and I nearly fell out one night. Wearing a sleep device didn't give me much room to move around. A larger double bed would have been better 👍Thank you

A good find if you are visiting Arundel. A reasonably priced, pleasant, clean and comfortable B&B/small hotel, with spacious parking, near the railway station and within easy walking distance of Arundel. Friendly staff and decent breakfast. Our only suggestion would be blackout curtains/blinds for the Spring/Summer months.

We use the Arundel Park Hotel every year when myself and a couple of friends visit Goodwood for the members annual historic race meeting. We like this hotel as it is near to Goodwood, has excellent parking ,and enables us to walk into Arundel in the evening and enjoy the many pubs and restaurants. The hotel has friendly staff and was revamped a couple of years ago to a high standard and we always get an excellent breakfast. It offers good value and I can recommend it after using it for more than 10 years

We stayed at the hotel on the 24th Feb 24, the staff are Friendly, the hotel is very dated in some areas. Our shower wasn't working and wasn't very clean. Bed was supper comfy.Breakfast was nice, but beans and mushrooms were cold.

I arrived early evening and didn't want to venture out again in the rain so the proprietor kindly made me a sandwich as they don't offer evening meals.My room was at the back of the hotel and quiet.The room was nicely presented and clean. The be, incredibly comfortable. Although it is right next to the train station (convenient) I wasn't troubled by the trains. I would definitely stay again.

Our room was very comfortable after arriving quite wet after walking around in the rain! The room was clean and had everything we needed. A good night sleep and the room was very quiet. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Perfectly placed for walking into the town of Arundel. Would definitely come again.

We booked a room with a bigger bed because this is what we are used to at home. It was a little more expensive than a standard double.It was a lovely light double aspect room looking on to the gardens which had everything needed, i.e. comfortable seating area with flat screen TV, large ensuite with double shower, ample modern power and USB points, plenty of storage, dressing table, etc, etc.It was well decorated and had good furnishings.It far exceeded the comfort and size of most hotels we have stayed in, especially for the price.If it was ever refurbished to modern standards, it would be top class! The breakfast was cooked to order and couldn't be faulted.The coffee was freshly brewed.It's proximity to the station and Arundel town centre, it's extensive car park and garden with nice seating were all plus points which you wouldn't necessarily get if you were staying in a town centre establishment.We would be happy to stay again and would choose the same room again, well away from the busy road.

We really enjoyed staying here because of the proximity to the traun station. A short pleasant walk brought us to the town center.The staff was very friendly and the room was comfortable.

Friendly and welcoming.We had a very pleasant two day stay here whilst visiting family nearby.The room and bed were very comfortable. Despite being very close to the A27 and the railway station, neither was a noise issue, despite roadworks right outside one night.The only issue it was hot in the room, this despite a large fan being available. Would be very cosy if that warm in winter.Would use again for the convenience and comfort.

Hello.I had a very good stay in Arundel Park hotel this week.Everything was good.Its a good place to stay because next time I will travel to other places with train.The beds was much better than in the room I rent last time I stayed with you.I learn that direct booking is a good way to do it.I visit Arundel at least once a year, dont know when next time.A problem now is the exchange rates. It is very expensice for us norwegian to travekl in UK now, due to the strong GBP and weak Norwegian krone.But I will be back.Kind regardsHelge

Great location next to Arundel Railway Station, and a short walk into Arundel and all that it offers.Room was large,clean and bed comfortable.Breakfast was excellent in a nice conservatory attached to hotel . Would recommend highly.

Hotel facilities, whilst a little worn were clean, spacious and functioned well. Breakfasts were tasty and fresh.Close proximity to Arundel and the station were key items.Staff were most helpful and friendly.We will stay again if visiting family hear Arundel.

The hotel was very clean and tidy, our room was adequate but very noisy from the traffic directly outside, so much do they even left you ear plugs to use!!!Breakfast was good, friendly staff.

The hotel is conveniently positioned for easy access to Arundel or the coast. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. A good English breakfast was served along with a reasonable choice of cereals. Plenty of room for parking. Also very convenient for the railway station.

Although I checked in on the evening and checked out straight after breakfast, this was a great hotel for my needs. The room was a single. Very small with a single bed, but had everything I needed for a quick 1 night stay. It was very clean. The bed was ok, if a little softer than my bed at home, but it was comfortable.I would have liked more tea, coffee and milk to be in the room for my arrival, but I am sure more would have been provided if I had known and asked.The breakfast was cooked fresh and was very nice. I had a full English with juice and coffee and there was also a good range of cereal and pastries, yoghurt and fruit.Check in and check out were very smooth and staff were very polite.I will be back for work again inSeptember for a longer stay and intend to book here again.

The staff were great, breakfast was good, the hotel is older but looks recently refurbished and was extremely clean. The only downside was the adjacent and very busy A27 which was rather noisy. Closing windows helped but with no aircon it got rather hot.

Our first trip to Arundel so did not know what to expect . The hotel was fine , very convenient for walking into town and was next to the station but no problem with noise etc , The room was fine with all that was needed and breakfast was freshly cooked. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about the area and we had a very good stay .

This hotel was well located for visiting both Arundel and Littlehampton, and had plenty of free parking. The room was clean, if a little dated in decor. The breakfast was good and service excellent. My only complaint is that it was more than we would usually pay for similar accomodation.

This was our 2nd stay at Arundel Park Hotel. Although the hotel could do with some updating it is in a great location for walking into Arundel. Both times we have stayed the room has been clean and the bed comfortable. Limited breakfast selection but what you order from the hot selection is well presented and well cooked. Nice staff. Good value. See you again soon.

Very polite staff. Some tlc around our bedroom windows. Would suggest a mini fridge in the bedroom just to chill our drinks on these warm days. Access to the gardens should be better.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. I only slight issue was the road noise but we had ear plugs so it wasn't too bad. The lady running the breakfast room was lovely and kept us well fed.

We stayed here for 3 nights with myself, my husband, 11 year old son and a Nana. All the staff were so friendly and professional throughout and the breakfast was lovely. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and already had a ceiling fan and a portable fan to help keep it cooler at night. Short walk into Arundel which is full of lovely restaurants too. Great stay all round.

The host and staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, breakfast tasty and freshly cooked - with friendly service. On a busy road, the windows are double glazed and earplugs are provided to cancel out the noise of traffic. If we're ever back in Arundal, I can see us staying here again.

Good points are the convenient location, the little garden area at the back, the comfortable bed, the fan (we stayed on the day it was 28 degrees!)The weaker points were the decor - I'm not a great fan of black lampshades twinned with 80s floral curtains! the conservatory, which was roasting at breakfast time (but tbf, probably lovely at any other time of year!) and the breakfast, not great with a lack of really cold water/milk.

Stayed a single night here 08.06.23. The room was spotlessly clean (like an operating theater) but dated. Shower was good plenty of water pressure and hot water. Good position near to the town, just 5 mins on foot. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good: plenty of it and great quality.The only negatives were road noise, which I only noticed as it was hot and I opened the window, and the pillows were a bit thin.Good value!

Staff and guests were all friendly. I was able to check-in a couple of hours early to get ready for a wedding. My room was clean, well kept and everything you would expect from a 2 star hotel.I was surprised that the bar didn't open till 1pm and closes at 10pm. As a guest I would have expected to have been able to get a drink when I wanted one.Breakfast was well cooked. Although I had booked a table for 9:15 I was allowed to get my breakfast earlier. I found there to be ample food on offer for breakfast.

Arrived at the hotel mid afternoon, friendly reception and a good room. Lovely and warm 😍 probably the warmest I've been all winter 😀. Good choice of breakfast available, good coffee ☕. The only criticism I can give is that the pipe from the toilet needs a good clean up!

A family run, clean hotel which offers a splendid choice of breakfasts. The cost of the stay was extremely competitive for the area and facilities. Room furniture, decor and bedding was dated however ultra clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to others.

We were allocated a larger spacious and comfortable room which was in an excellent state of repair/décor (clearly benefiting from a recent upgrade).The heating was more than sufficient and was actually turned down. The hotel is located close to the busy main road and should the windows be open, the road noise may be an issue...which it wasn't with windows closed in March.Easy walking distance to the train station or into town to participate at the numerous excellent restaurants. A castle visit or the WWT (both close) are options and the small museum was informative too. Local walks into the Arundel Park were also enjoyed.The bathroom was spacious and clean with an adequate electric shower.Loved the cooked breakfasts.....A most acceptable visit, so thank you all.

The hotel was everything you could ask for on short break away . The rooms were clean and comfortable . The breakfast was as good as they come. And the hotel is situated 2 minutes walk from the railway station. We enjoyed our nordic walking so many routes to choose from.

Admittedly the day was a poor one weather wise but on entering the hotel we received a warm welcome and were given all the necessary information. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The bedroom was comfortable and warm. Tea making facilities were available in the room. We dined in and the food was good. The choice was a bit limited but one has to be realistic with these things. There was no draught beer but again we have to be realistic. The proprietor was chatty and informative. Breakfast was served at our table and it was hot. Considering we were on a one night stop it is ideally placed for the railway station. Next door in fact.The internet came up trumps when it showed this hotel.

Our room was warm and spacious, everything worked, the breakfasts were fine (although slightly limited menu) and there was a large car park. The staff were helpful and efficient. Our only slight niggle (not a criticism) was that there was a lack of the intimacy that you usually get in a smaller B&B (we were in room 16) - there was a certain 'coldness' about the place, particularly in the evenings.

This hotel is ideally positioned to access Arundel and you get a warm welcome.Rooms are comfortable and breakfast freshly cooked.We needed a specific twin room which ch I think limited the choice so were directly on a very busy main road (but we’d been under the flight path of Heathrow the night before.I think if you can get a room further back in the hotel it won’t be noticeable. Overall worth staying here.

My initial contact with Reception was to ask after a room with walk-in shower and either ground floor or lift access.This was confirmed and upon arrival I found myself given nearest ground-floor room to the restaurant, which was most welcome. The shower was as requested with ample hot water.The hotel advertises itself as two-star but there are aspects which place it in the upper-range of this category. Proximity to the railway station is very handy for those wishing to travel, and there is a taxi rank at the rail station which can take guests into town, although I imagine many will choose a brisk walk. Any surprises were on the positive side and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is very close to Arundel railway station and only a 10 min walk to Arundel centre. The hotel is friendly and practical. We had a standard room. Small bathroom but was ok. If you opened the window there was traffic noise, we didn’t have much of a view but that didn’t bother us. The only negative was the mattress was on the hard side. Good breakfast with plenty to chose from. I reckon this hotel is good value and cheaper than other hotels in Arundel. I would stay here again.

I was walking part of the South Downs Way and everything I needed was provided - a clean room, a hot shower, a comfortable bed and a hearty breakfast! Well done to the hotel management and team.

We spent a few days in this lovely hotel, which is comfortable, spotlessly clean, and amazingly only has three staff! Breakfasts, served in delightful conservatory looking onto pretty garden, were delicious, with plenty of choice, excellent hot and fresh coffee and timely serving of hot food. Our room was spacious, as was the shower room, and had all we needed, with comfy bed, refilled (including biscuits!) welcome tray each day. Pleasant bar and lounge area, and evening meals available which were very reasonable and tasty, although a little wait before service (but fine, bearing in mind staff numbers). Loads of free parking next to hotel, with bus stop and rail station adjacent. Only ten minutes walk from Arundel and easy reach of Chichester, Weald and Downland and Amberley Museums. This hotel punches above its weight. Staff were lovely and couldn't do more for us. Highly recommended.

My Son and I stayed here as we were going to the races as we were going horse racing at fontwell park .We were able to book in early prior to racing ,we had a nice twin room with all amenities at a very reasonable price.We were made most welcome by the manager and his staff.The breakfast was excellant with a lot of choice including a fab full English.A very nice bar open till ten pm.We both had a very enjoyable two night stay and would hope to come back next year.Michael

Within walking distance of town and castle - a few minutes.The staff were always friendly and helpful. All in all we had had a super time in Arundel and were reluctant to leave! A charming English hotel with kind and friendly staff. My luggage was stored for me for the morning after checkout, giving me time to explore Arundel. A great stopover on my way home from Gatwick airport.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. It was next to the road but ear plugs supplied.I personnel slept fine without them, the traffic was lighter in the evening. Lovely breakfast,lots of parking, a straight forward walk into Arundel. Staff where all friendly, could do with a few tweeks,but great for what we wanted to do

The Arundel Park Hotel is a little gem of a find - tucked away on the edge of Arundel town with a 10 min stroll of lovely Arundel with its' castle, quaint streets, shops, churches etc. Although set back off the main road the hotel was so quiet & the ensuite room was extremely clean & perfectly adequate with tv & tea, coffee & biscuits & towels replenished daily. Dear Reena who welcomed us on arrival was lovely -even when it transpired that Expedia had taken my payment but not forwarded it to the hotel, needing a call from me to my bank & then Reena needing to chase up Expedia - she was so cheerful & kind throughout. And Louise who served the breakfasts each morning was lovely too - with the options of a delicious full English breakfast or cereal, croossants, toast, fruit juices - it was all in all a great experience & we'd highly recommend staying here!Thanks Arundel Park Hotel!

We stayed with family and friends (there were 6 of us in 3 rooms) during the Arundel festival. The rooms were very clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was cooked to perfection on both days.We have stayed before and will definitely stay again. Lovely Hotel in a lovely area close to the station and beautiful town of Arundel. Lots to do and see here. Very much enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable room and delicious breakfast.

Small local hotel but so much nicer than staying in one of the 'chain' hotels as run by extremely friendly staff and therefore had a more personal touch. Room very clean and comfortable and very tasty breakfast in attractive conservatorywhich also serves as a small bar in the evening. Garden seating also available. There are lovely views of the South Downs and you can walk into Arundel or to the railway station in 5 or 10 minutes, which is convenient. Just suggest you request a room towards the rear if possible as it sits on a main road.

The hotel is right next door toArundel station so very convenient as taxi's seemed hard to come by in Arundel. The hotel has a small garden so nice to sit outside especially when tavelling with children. The rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Stayed here for 4 night, the hotel is in a perfect location for walking into Arundel or catching the train to locations a little further away. Breakfast was lovely very good quality products. Will defiantly be staying again.

Next door to the rail station but no noise from this experienced.Hotel has a small garden.Only the traffic noise prevented this from being a great hotel for a short stay, but, other rooms were not effected by the constant passing vehicle noise. We did however, sleep well.

Actually on the A27 the hotel offers an excellent welcome and ideal location from which to explore. Comfortable rooms, light and airy and spotlessly clean.All the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast offers a good start to the day.

We stayed in this hotel on the beginning of August. Beds are very comfortable, rooms are clean and breakfast tasty. Generally, worth recommended the only minus is that some of the rooms are facing very busy road so if you have light sleep you might struggle.

the first thing that strikes you how very clean everything is. i had a single room en suite not the biggest but room enough, it was at the back and was a very quiet roomdecent breakfast, plenty of choicegood shower etc - the only downside there was no point for my electric razorthe hotel is close to the station and about a 10 minute walk into the centre of arundel

Good welcome on arrival. My case was taken upstairs to my room. Good size room and bathroom. Everything was clean. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Good choice of breakfast and friendly staff. Unfortunately, due to hot weather, we had windows open at night and the traffic noise was quite a problem even though there were shutters.

Hotel was clean and comfy. The cooked breakfast was very tasty and not too greasy. It was unseasonably hot and we would have liked to use the fan but it was pretty loud, and we didn't open the window as the main road is obviously loud, but overall a very nice place to stay. Very grateful for accomodating us earlier than the check in time so we could get to our wedding party, thanks very much!

I stayed for business purposes but a greatbase for Arundel and a delicious breakfast and lovely staff. Nothing to complain about.

Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. The breakfast was served quickly, and cooked well. I was impressed by how clean the hotel was. The only drawback is that we live in the countryside and are unaccustomed to the sound of traffic, which did disturb us. It would probably be ok with the windows closed, but because it was hot weather this was not an option. There was a roof fan, which was nice. I would have given 5 stars if not for the noise of the traffic. The closeness to the station was a bonus (the trains did not disturb us at all).

Booking in was very easy and our room spotlessly clean and comfortable. Bar meals were very nice mostly with chips and veg but the couple running the hotel were quite happy to change this to mash and or beans.We would definitely recommend this hotel and if or when we next visit Arundel will be booking here.

I would definitely recommend this hotel.It is so clean and tidy.I stayed in a single room, which was light and airy. There was a fan in the room if it got too hot.Although near the railway station and a road, it didn't bother me a bit.I was out during the day and the traffic and trains were much less during evenings and nighttime.The breakfast was certainly sufficient and the staff was lovely.I was there for 5 days and my sheets and towels were changed part way through my stay.I really cannot fault anything.

The choice of hot and cold breakfast was good and the quality of all the food was great.We chose this hotel because it offered plenty of free car parking whereas the town center hotels couldn't provide the same.The only downside was the traffic noise from the A27 but this only caused us some disturbed sleep on the first night.

The room was small but fine for a night. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was in a lovely room with large windows letting in the sunshine. The food was good and hearty. We chatted with an English couple who had spent many years in the US. It was very close to the train station and an easy walk into town to see the castle and go to restaurants.

My friends and I have been using this hotel for many years as it offers good value, good breakfasts and friendly staff with a very convenient location for access to Arundel and for Goodwood which is only 20 minutes awayRecent redecoration throughout has improved the ambience and is extremely smart.Parking is more than sufficient with immediate access to the main road.

The team were very helpful, nice room, beautiful breakfast conservatory overlooking the garden, and great breakfast. Easy walking distance to Arundel centre. There is some noise from a main road but, overall, a very pleasant experience.

Arundel Park Hotel is next to the railway station and is only about a 10 minute walk into Arundel. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Plenty of free parking on site. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived after a visit to Arundel Castle, which is well worth a visit for both castle and gardens, after six in the evening. We went to reception where we picked up keys to our room and was quite surprised of it's size, very roomy with everything that you would expect of a chain of more well known hotels. Having checked in we were able to walk back into Arundel which was approx 15mins walking time. Having spent the evening in Arundel we returned to the hotel for a small nightcap and what was a very restful, and quiet night, in our bedroom. Breakfast the next morning was at 8:00am for us and cereal, yoghurts, fruit and fruit juices were freely available as well as a small menu which include a full English, as well as a vegetarian option of the same. We would be quite happy to return to this hotel for another overnight stay and would be quite happy in recommending a stay to others

Car parking has always been a problem in town. But this hotel is within walking distance to town Center and the famous Arundel Castle. Staff very polite and the breakfast was very good. Full English breakfast every morning pipping hot and very well presented. Definitely will stay there again when I bring my family there for a holiday.

This small (15 bedroom) well maintained family run hotel was faultless in everything it promised to provide.The room—albeit not large by the nature of the building—had everything you would look for in it:comfortable beds, sound proofed windows, a bathroom where everything was in good working order with an excellent shower, tea/coffee making facility in the room, flat screen TV and radio, rooms cleaned and made up well everyday, plenty of car parking space, a lovely well maintained garden to sit in, a great breakfast with everything you would look for, and kind helpful staff !!What’s not to love........

Stayed at the Arundel Park Hotel, for a long weekend a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is situated in an ideal location - approximately 10 minutes walk from the centre of Arundel. Even this time of year it was busy so this would be a big plus during the Summer.The hotel is set back from a main road, so there’s a lot of traffic. The traffic noise may be a problem for some people but we found it ok;having a decent nights sleep throughout the weekend, in a very comfortable bed.Our room was clean and a good size with a decent en-suite, although you might like to have a look at the toilet seat which was forever moving. One nice touch was the alarm clock that was on the bedside table.The breakfast was good with a choice of menu.Throughout our stay the staff were friendly and approachable, and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.One thing that we didn’t anticipate was that Arundel Castle would be closed and not opening until April. (Not sure if this was to do with Covid or it was just closed for the Winter, so it’s worth checking) But saying that we still thoroughly enjoyed our break in lovely Arundel.

What a wonderful surprise this overnight stay was.The Hotel has undergone a considerable revamp and every area of the place is so much more welcoming. My single room with en-suite was immaculately clean and comfortable and the full English breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough and the rates are still extremely competitive.

WE arrived blown in by the storm last friday to a warm welcome and straight to our large and immaculate room. We enjoyed a delicious pie and chips later on in the evening despite the threat of power cuts. The garden looks like it will be lovely in the summet, despite the nearby main road it was very qiuet. Breakfast was tasty and delivered with a smale. All round very good indeed.

I love the room that I got(Room 1). It's clean, warm and cozy. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast tastes nice too. The only setback is that you got to bring your own toiletries as they don't provide it. Overall, I was happy with my stay in this hotel.

We stayed at Arundel Park hotel at beginning of October and 1st impressions was great room was a big double clean and tidy. Tea and coffee making were available. We had breakfast each day and was served very well with plenty of choice. We also had lunch there couple of times very filling and good choice on drinks. Evening meals were filling and again good choice. We will be going back again next year.

We were in Arundel to join a Pilgrimage walk on September 25th and we stayed over for two nights. We were very impressed by the hotel. It was good value, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very nice. It was a highly convenient location next to the railway station. This allowed us to visit Chichester which is only 20 mins by hourly train. It was a short walk into town. The breakfast was very nice.

A comfortable room with all that we needed for our stay including heating in the bathroom which was welcome in the morning . Staff very friendly and helpful , recommended places to dine and visit . Would stay there again when we return to Arundel .

Ignore the older reviews, which say it needs refurbishing as that has clearly happened, now. In fact, the shower in our room looked virtually brand new and worked perfectly.It is quite a small hotel (only 12 bedrooms, I think) and does not do food, other than the breakfasts, which were excellent. According to the signs, the bar is open from 1-10pm but not many guests seemed to use it, while we were there. My overall impression is that this is more like a well-run guest-house than a hotel but, given current high hotel prices, this is probably the best value in the Arundel area

We've used this hotel for visits to Goodwood for many years and it is extremely convenient for the 20 minute trip to Goodwood and for walking into Arundel in the evening where there's a plethora of pubs and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful, there's plenty of parking and prices are competitive v other hotels which are all full during the Goodwood events. Breakfast is very good and we will continue to use this location.

I am a wholly deaf solo British traveller and stayed for 2 nights at The Arundel Park Hotel, Arundel with the free car park where I left my car.I was able to walk about 10 to 20 mins to Arundel, Arundel Castle and Swanbourne Lake that I enjoyed.When I arrived on the first afternoon, I was welcomed by the attentive male receptionist.I was happy with my hotel twin room – very clean, comfortable single bed, chairs, desk and the electric kettle with coffee, tea, biscuit, etc. and the good basic bathroom, as well as the good Wi-Fi reception.The hotel’s breakfast room in the pretty conservatory adjourned to the hotel building – the 2 waitresses were so friendly and looked after me well.Thanks to all the attentive members of the hotel staff for all their kind hospitality!They treated me with respect!

Room clean and comfortable, however the road noise and the fumes from the traffic meant that we could not open the window to get fresh air. The ceiling fan is inadequate, air conditioning needed in this room.The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was very good. The bath had no handrail which for senior citizens made it difficult to get into and out of bath.

The hotel is very conveniently situated right on the A27.With lots of parking and a few minute walk into town it worked well for me.Some reviews commented on the road noise being a problem but I had a downstairs front room right by the road and hardly noticed it.The rooms are rather tired but everything worked and the ceiling fan kept the room cool on a very hot night.The bar and conservatory where breakfast is served was light and airy and breakfast was very good - catering well for my gluten free requirement.All in all good value and would stay again when in Arundel.

Online photographs did not do justice to this pleasant hotel so we had a nice surprise.Our room was large, light, well furnished, comfy and clean.Breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful.The hotel has plenty of parking and is an easy walk into Arundel town which is a big plus.We stayed in the summer and particularly enjoyed the laid-back garden area.We will definitely use this hotel again. Four stars for good value for money in the high season.

This hotel provided for our needs perfectly. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It was a short walk into town but that was no problem

The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable with chairs as well as the bed to sit on .The built in wardrobe was a little rustic inside and it was difficult to reach the hangers. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept very well. The bathroom was newly refurbished a good size and everything including the towels were of a high quality. We were very pleased to see that our towels were not changed every day! Let’s save the planet! The TV though small was adequate and the soundproofing in the rooms was very good. The corridors and staircase was narrow so carrying large bags was difficult. The serving staff in the beautiful breakfast room were welcoming and very efficient and the cooked breakfast was perfect as were the other choices available, nothing was missing we were very satisfied. Good parking and access we will be using this hotel again when we next come to visit the area.

Despite its location on the extremely busy A27 road, the hotel was peaceful and calm and we were lucky to get a large room for our 2 night stay.The place was very clean and the staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent and overall we would highly recommend this hotel for a break in the Arundel area.Also very handy for the train station.

Booked in for 4 nights whilst visiting a family friend, and taking in the local area, I found the Arundel Park Hotel a pleasant place to stay.The room was clean and tasteful, providing all the amenities needed. The cooked breakfast provided was a great start to the day.I would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is located near the station and walking distance of the centre of Arundel and castle. There is lots of parking and nice gardens. The rooms are clean and well equipped. The breakfast was most enjoyable and the service was quick. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Our room was very outdated and needing upgrading in comparison to the room in the photos above. Unfortunately it looked onto the busy road which was very noisy despite the double-glazing. We liked the good choice of cereals and our hot breakfasts were generous and freshly-cooked but our toast was cold and rather chewy. Sorry to say the coffee was flavourless and for a coffee lover, undrinkable (although my partner managed it!) Perhaps it had been made much earlier and kept hot for too long. Very good fresh coffee is available everywhere so I think people expect it nowadays. The garden would be a lovely addition when tidied and comfy seating added.

Clean, comfortable, friendly & affordable - what more could you ask for? Excellent breakfast too. Only down side is that the hotel is on a very busy road, but that can't be helped.

I stayed in a twin room with my sister. we stayed for two nights and enjoyed being able to walk into Arundel in under 10 minutes. We both agreed we would return again. The bedroom was clean and simple. breakfast provided was satisfactory. I feel they could have improved the garden and allowed us to use this.

The Arundel Park was very well presented although decor was a bit dated in places, looked as though it was gradually being updated though. Easy welcoming check in. Thought the train station nearby would be an issue but it wasn’t at all. Bedroom 9 twin was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable. Large easy to use shower. Staff were all very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was pretty standard but good, service was fast and very efficient. Only thing missing was a restaurant but a short 10 minute walk into the stunning town of Arundel soon solved this with its many varied restaurants and traditional pubs. All In all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you

My wife is physically disabled and without a lift she found it very difficult getting up and down the steep stairway. The standard room was OK but the ensuite bathroom rather lacked shelving etc to put items on. The breakfast was very good with a very pleasant waitress.

Came with my mum for a couple of nights. The hotel was very clean and tidy looking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room had just what you needed. Location was perfect, short walk to Arundal Town and beaches are not far away, closest is only 10 mins drive. Breakfast was delicious and great that they had a bar. Only slight critism is the noise from the road but that can't be helped.

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night, we went to climping beach for two days , 8 miles away, in the evening we walked into Arundal , which is a 10minute walk, with loads of pubs and restaurants .Finished of with a lovely breakfast .

The hotel has been refurbished and looks very much better. The service from Alpesh and Louise cannot be faulted. A good place to stay.

We had a very restful nights sleep the bed was really comftable the room was very clean and it was quiet.if I was in the area again I would stay there.

Everything was good but we understood my credit card details were only to be used to retain the booking. I was surprised to arrive and find that payment had already been taken. We were intending to pay half the bill each. We can sort it between ourselves but I knock off a star for that.

The Arundel Park Hotel is an attractive building with a beautiful wooden conservatory hinting at a gracious past. It looks out onto a pretty, somewhat neglected garden, some of which is now a gravelled car park. It is next to a very busy road and near the railway station, neither of which we found a problem, although it might have out us off sitting in the garden. Our twin bedroom was quite freshly painted, with a very clean en suite bathroom and a spacious shower. The room itself was a bit spartan, with cheap furniture and carpet and it would have benefited from a bit of smartening up. However, we have found in the past that twin rooms are often plainer than doubles. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I was loaned a phone charger when I discovered that I had forgotten mine. Breakfast was served in the conservatory, which was also very clean. Lock-down rules meant that it was served in sittings, to allow for social distancing and the usual table of cereals, coffee, etc, was missing because we had to remain at our tables. Service was with a smile, cereals were available if you asked for them and the breakfast was good, with a choice of five meals. There is a bar where a few people can sit in the evenings (there aren't many tables, but that may alsobe due to Covid restrictions) and socialise. We used it on both nights we were there and found it comfortable.To sum up, this seemed a pleasant hotel that has been a bit more upmarket than it is now. A bit more expenditure would restore it to greater elegance and comfort, but as a budget hotel it does well in terms of welcome, cleanliness ans reasonable comfort. There is free wifi.

We hand a wonderful stay at the Arundel Park Hotel. The hotel has been recently rede corated. Our bedroom was perfect. It was very light with plenty of mirrors and plug points. Even a ceiling fan which was very useful.A great bathroom with a powerful shower. The hotel is next door to the station and a very short walk into Arundel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we were served an excellent breakfast every day. We would highly recommendthe hotel and certainly stay again if we return to Arundel.

The springs when "Ping" when my husband turned over in bed and made me jump and wonder what the noise was! Television very small - a larger one would have been easier to enjoy. This hotel is perfectly placed for Arundel with the main town being just a five minute walk away.Although the hotel is situated on a busy main road , the rooms are quiet and your certainly not disturbed by the passing traffic.The owners and staff are extremely polite and helpful and the hotel itself was spotless with everything newly decorated with the advantage of having a bar and garden to enjoy a drink.Fully recommend the breakfast which is freshly cooked to perfection.A perfect choice of place to stay for visiting Arundel.

Couldn't be better placed - right next to the railway station. Staff were extremely helpful, preparing a substantial packed lunch as I had to check out in advance of breakfast. The room itself was very comfortable and had everything I needed.The road did take some heavy lorries which caused some shaking, but not enough to be a major disturbance

Me, My wife and our child Thad the pleasure of staying at Arundel Park Hotel. We had a family room that was really spacious, clean and really comfortable. The hotel is a shortwalk from the town centre and castle, we used as a base for visiting the coast and we will be visiting again in future. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly

My single room was warm and comfortable but it felt a bit dated with the rose wallpaper. The colour of the wallpaper also made the room feel dull and dark. The duvet colour also emphasised the dark feel to the room. It needs updating and lightening. It was more like an old-fashioned B&B bedroom.However, it was clean. Surprised on arrival to have only one milk sachet and one tea bag.The section within the breakfast menu was very good . Food was well-cooked and service was excellent. A delightful breakfast room.My shower on my first morning never got beyond being tepid. The next shower on the following morning was lovely and warm. Not sure what happened there. I was awoken on my first morning by the alarm clock going off at 6.30 am.However, I would definitely stay here again. Staff were friendly and welcoming and it is conveniently close to Arundel town.

We had a large clean room good price and situated within short walk of town and castle . The bonus was a very large car park so no trouble parking.Would use again.

Every member of staff we encountered was helpful and gave very good service. However the decor in the room was not pleasing. The bedhead was stained and did not look appealing. The bathroom was however clean and, once we had fathomed how the shower worked, was adequate.

It isn’t everyone’s ideal but if you like an old fashioned, sleepy place, it’s fine. I personally like older decoration and a feeling of being lived in and not being too pristine. WE booked this place rather last minute as most other options were taken.The place is functional, relatively inexpensive and reasonably clean, but very tired.Some of the less appealing features were the loose toilet seat, toilet light with no pulley on the end of the dirty string and the dirty ashtray just outside the entrance (nice touch)!Having said this, on the whole the room was clean including the shower, bedding etc and quiet during the night.Wont be rushing back anytime soon!

We weren't happy with the Bed in Room 4 in particular but this has now been rectified with a new mattress thankfully - they were not aware of the problem prior to us checking out so well done to them !!

A friendly, independent hotel which made a change from the 'chains'. The room was very comfortable and had everything you could need (including biscuits). Good breakfast. Really convenient for the station and an easy walk into town. It worked out so well that we will consider it for future visits.

Plenty of space in the car park.Location is excellent for visiting Arundel.The castle looked a long way from the hotel but proved to be about 20 mins which is easily walkable. Couldn’t ask for a better location. There’s a local shop for those picnic bits and pieces, a local park and a fantastic view of Arundel castle just a short walk away. East and west Beach less than 15 mins drive away. Staff at hotel very friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. Room comfy and spacious enough for us. Only complaint is no air conditioning- with temperatures in the 30’s having a ceiling fan and mini fan just did not cool the room with 4 people in it!

A real old fashioned hotel with all the facilities of a modern hotel. Lovely people, good food and a good night's sleep! Looking forward to our next stay.

I have been staying here on and off over the last ten years, when in the area on business, and have always found the hotel clean and warm with welcoming hosts.

We found our room to be very clean tidy and well presented although dated and in need of redecorating and new furnishings to bring it up to date. The room was tendered to everyday with fresh towels coffee and the bed made to hotel standards. Breakfast was well presented and of variety. Ample parking and close to town centre & train station.We found it to be peaceful hospitable friendly and will most likely stay again on our next visit to Arundel.

Tired decor, heavy old carpets and curtains and faded pictures everywhere do not help this little hotel. It is situated on a busy, noisy road.The manager is obliging and the situation is convenient for Arundel.

Overnight stay due to a wedding. Very friendly staff, spotless room (and I am fussy!). I asked prior to my arrival, if my room could be ready for noon, as the wedding was a 1pm. That was no problem for the hotel. Could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Stayed for one night. Staff great. On arrival I found a problem with the toilet flush. By the time I returned it was fixed. The room was lovely and you can’t hear the traffic at all or any noise from other rooms. Occasionally you can hear a room door close but that’s it.Breakfast was lovely too. Order came out exactly as I wanted.The hotel is so close to the station- literally at the end of the stations road. It’s only a 10 minute walk to castle.

Entrance off the road needs smartening up. It looks run down at this point.Once inside, downstairs is quite pleasant and airy. The bar has limited hours, but is OK in a hotel-y way. Upstairs, the corridor is about as depressingly rundown as the entrance. My room was old fashioned (1970's floral wallpaper) and cheaply furnished, but it was also spotlessly clean and well looked after. The bathroom was fresh and again spotlessly clean - and not the pokey size of some en-suites. Breakfasts were functional, but quite reasonable.You wouldn't want them charging any more per night, but it is quite recommendable on that basis.By the way go to Arundel Station to find it. The postcode lands you some way down the road and clueless where to go!

I stayed one night for a sports event, felt very welcome, had a good night's sleep. My single room was small, cosy, comfortable, clean, with working plumbing and wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent, would highly recommend.

Attractive and very clean rooms. Great location right next to the train station. For some reason Google said it was about a mile away, but when we asked the taxi driver at the train station to take us to the Arundel Park Hotel, he said, "You can walk there, it is literally right next door." The owner made a delicious dinner for us and got up early to make our breakfast before we had to leave for Gatwick Airport. We were very happy with our stay and thought we got good value for our money.

Rooms are adequate. Clean bedding and coffee making facilities. En suite shower. Breakfast was very nice. Friendly staff. Will go again.

We were very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We thought the room rate was very reasonable at the time of the Goodwood Revival when the whole area is booked up but when we found it included a full breakfast we were even more impressed The bed I slept in has to rate as the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had!!! The hotel is right next to a busy road but with the window closed we couldn't hear a thing Only downside, poorshower pressure Would book again next year

A very pleasant experience.We arrived needing some time to ourselves and felt very happy with our room - the easy chair was especially appreciated.The breakfast was very good with the service most helpful.We enjoyed our stay and will certainly want to come again if we are in the area.

It was a very nice stay. Just the water pressure for the shower in the rooms 3 and 7 was not very good. Otherwise everything was ok.

My wife and I were visiting the area for a 50th birthday celebration for a couple of days, and having visited the area before i knew of this hotel . Price wise perfect ,breakfast was unfussy and delicious, especially the full English .Rooms and general decor are tired , butall were clean with friendly housekeeping. The great thing here is that it has a car park as inArundel it is very difficult to find a parking space , and the hotel is just a short walk from thetown center,albeit on a v busy road . Windows in room 16were double glazed , so traffic noise not a problem . Forashortstay its agood choice .

As before, everything at this hotel works well and gives a very pleasant, easy stay.Breakfast brilliant!Our host gave us much help in working out how long a journey to an important appointment we had to make from the hotel would take.He was charming and just needs to smile at guests when they arrive.

Stayed at this hotel as it seemed to offer a reasonable rate with free parking. Very pleased with the double room and the breakfast was very good.

The booking was easy, and choice of check in time was great. Easy parking and easy walk into Arundel town centre. Our room was lovely, clean and welcoming. The bathroom was clean with fresh towels, and lovely little fans made out of the top of the toilet rolls. A really nice touch! The bath was a little 'tired' looking, but filled with lovely hot water, it didn't really bother us. The breakfast room is delightful. Great choice of food, all fresh with very clean serving dishes and hygienic lids etc. Cooked breakfast went down a treat and all requests taken on board. A wonderful stay, fab price, would definitely stay again. Friendly staff, nice quiet hotel. Thank you!!

Stayed here for a weekend. ALL staff were extremely polite & helpful.Good breakfast selection and food well cooked. Room a bit 'tired' but was spotlessly clean so happy with it.We were the car park side and it was very quiet.Lovely to be able to open a window fully.It was a short walk into Arundel or an easy, even quicker drive.I would definitely use again if I visit Arundel

Room spotlessly clean and tidy. Bed really comfortable all towels and linen clean and fresh. Breakfast is spot on really tasty and plenty of everything you want! Only downside is decor very dated but for a one night stay no problem...location perfect for train station and town. Staff very friendly and helpful we will return. Thank you.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for less than 12hrs - arriving after dinner on the saturday so my partner could compete in a triathlon the next morning which meant leaving the hotel again at 0530am. It was my boyfriend's bday on the day we arrived - they left balloons and a beautiful bunch of flowers on the bed; offered to accomodate our dietary requirements with soya milk instead of cow's milk... and also gave us a room that would enable us to keep the racing road bike safe in there too. The hotel manager was quietly spoken but very pleasant and accomodating. The room was sizeable and very comfy with coffee and tea on hand and a nice bathroom with powerful shower. We like to support family run businesses and would definately stay here again should we return to this part of the country. They really cared about the little things.

A convenient location for Goodwood, nice size room, but showing its age.Bedding spotless and bathroom towels fresh every day.Net cutains were torn, wallpaper lifting and fittings mis-matched. The whole place could benefit from a decorating make-over. Restaurant & bar clean & tidy, good breakfast.Shame about the noise from the A27

Very friendly staff, good room with hot shower and window shutters, centrally located next to the Train Station and on a busy road thus a bit noisy.

The stay at Arundel Park Hotel was wonderful. Before booking the room I read some reviews that were quite negative. Since we were getting around mostly on foot, we found the location from the train station very ideal! It's about a 5 minute easy stroll! Although our window was facing the main road, it didn't really bother us. We went for walks in and around the town (10 minute flat easy walk) and got in quite tired and slept very well in the comfortable firm bed. The fresh air and relaxed surroundings is also great if looking for a relaxed weekend away. The staff is not intrusive and very attentive. The breakfast was also very good. It was freshly made and the food tasted great. I couldn't really find fault with anything really. It's a well-priced bed and breakfast and I think guests should be out an about and not indoors inspecting the rooms so much. The room we stayed in was spacious, it wasn't too cold and it was very clean and that was good enough for us and would recommend to others.

Stayed two nights, very friendly helpful service.Easy walking distance to Wetlands centre and town.Did some great walking and cycling.To get the extra star would need to improve sound proofing between rooms (we could hear next door's tv at midnight) and breakfast was fine but could be a little better (eg full English a little greasy, baked bread not ready sliced, homemade jam pots etc)

Louise is a fabulous hostess. The location is in such a gorgeous township with nearby pubs, shops and historical buildings to explore set amongst a vast countryside. I stayed there for an easy commute to Goodwood Festival of Speed and couldn't have asked for a better lodging. Clean, quaint, quiet with a great breakfast and gorgeous accom. Did I mention Louise was awesome? Very accommodating for my needs when my brother showed up at the last minute too! I'll definitely be back for an amazing English experience in a picturesque surrounding!

Westayed one night in May.Were given a nice large room, away from the busy road as requested, so not noisy.Close to Arundel Castle and shopping.Proprietor suggested a good restaurant as well.Definitely a good value.

Had a very nice weekend stay in Arundel in April.......just a nice 5 minute walk to the centre. Room was very spacious and clean, the shower could have been better. Breakfst was first class. Would reccommend a stay here.

Reviewed 24 March 2013Right beside the railway and though the road is busy neither impinges on the peace and quiet. A great welcome - the people who run this hotel are very nice and we had some good chats! Kind of old fashioned, but that makes me feel old because I'm talking 1970's. Made me smile - the coloured suite in the bathroom and furnishings reminded me of my mother's house when I was a kid. But it's so well looked after and spotlessly clean it actually made me feel very comfortable. A superb sleep, I woke well rested to have a really good breakfast in the conservatory. The old-style 'proper' conservatory is to die for. Mind you on a health and safety theme the door at the top of the stairs, which opens towards you, en-route to the bedrooms is a little dodgy. It tends to make you want to step back and with a heavy suitcase in the other hand, in my opinion, you could potentially fall down the stairs.

Hotel was easy to find as next door to Arundel Railway Station. Slept well though no train noise through the night.Good food, clean room, friendly staff, the only negative I have was that the shower could have been more powerful.The Hotel was sited just outside Arundel less than a 5 minute walk to centre of town.Lots to do in Arundel if you like history and nature (The Castle and Cathedral - World Wetlands trust a short walk along Mill Road)Stunning walks along the Arun River, as mentioned Rail Station next door fares toLittlehampton, Chichester and Amberley less than a fiver.Had a nice relaxing time.

we all enjoyed staying at the Arundel Park Hotel its the 2nd time we have stayed, the 1st time in October last year we were welcomed and nothing was 2 much trouble. the rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was really good they have polite staff a good hotel in a good locaction we will be back.

We stayed for two nights only, although we might well choose this hotel if we wereplanning a longer holiday exploring the area. We chose the Arundel Park Hotel principally for its proximity to Arundel railway station. The hotel is literally a minute's walk away. There is also a bus stop next to the hotel. The busy A27 runs past the door so the hotel would be convenient for non-rail travellers as well as there is a good-size car park. As far as the accommodation goes there does not appear to be a lift but some ground-floor rooms are available. Our room was comfortable and we were not disturbed by traffic noise. In fact we awoke to birdsong. The conservatory breakfast room looked out on the garden and the choice of food was good, usual help-yourself to cereal etc, with a full english cooked to order, toast and tea/coffee.The hotel is between 5 and 10 minutes level walking from Arundel market place and town centre. I would say this was an excellent bed and breakfast choice.

I wanted to find a hotel which was near to the town, as I was meeting friends to go onto a wedding at the Wetlands Centre. This hotel was in a super location, especially if you travel by train as the station is so close. It suited me well, the room was tidy, clean and had all I need. The breakfast was lovely and the conservetory nice and bright. A nice garden to sit outside also. The couple Mr & Mrs Patel who run the hotel were very helpful to me. I would stay again if I find myself coming back to Arundel.

A vet pleasant welcome by the staff. Clean room, comfortable beds,a very pleasant dining roon/ conservatory where the breakfast was superb! The hotel is ideally placed for easy access to the town and the train station. I would say that the only down side was having to vacate the room by 10.30am on the departure day. Otherwise an excellent stay.

What I liked most about the Arundel Park Hotel is that it was just so easygoing. No self-important staff, no mad, raving guests. It was simply a peaceful weekend free of hassle. Exactly what we wanted.The room itself was more than adequate for the money we paid and breakfast was standard, reasonable fayre.Rooms were well maintained with well stacked bar. We couldn't have asked for anything more.We sincerely thank the staff for making our stay warm and enjoyable.We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting or staying in ArundelArundel itself is very charming. The only thing I would recommend is to book ahead for a restaurant, particularly if you're away for a weekend. There is a healthy selection of places to eat and drink but nearly all were full until quite late.

We were only staying for 1 night but was really impressed with the room. The hotel is clean and tidy and we had a warm reception.Breakfast was great!

Stayed here for one night to attend a wedding.Great location, ideal for the station and yet we were not aware of the noise of the trains. The room was pleasant clean and fresh and the beds were comfy. The reception was friendly, breakfast was nicely cooked simple traditional stuff served in a pleasant conservatory by a pleasant waitress. The corridors are cramped and the outside is not immaculate but that didn't detract from our stay at all.

Stayed overnight 4 adults in rooms 14 & 16.Both excellent and good value, would far rather stay here than a sterile travel lodge or premier inn.

Firstly, I would stay here again, but staying in hotels every week up and down the country I would comment as follows, the wallpaper in the bedroom had staining to it, the remote control for the digibox had flat batteries, and the shower was so powerful I thought it had drilled a hole in my scalp when I first turned it on, but the staff were friendly, the beer was not exorbitant and I hope to come and visit again sometime.

The room smelled of damp. The fan didn't work which meant we had to leave the window open- this was very noisy due to the traffic.The bathroom mirror was covered in dust and in addition there was a long hair in my bed.regrettably this was a far from pleasant stay
